“As many of you know, 2004-5 was a year in which I made my health and fitness a priority and made the transition from 370 to 220 lbs. Running became one of my new passions and in August of 2005, I ran in my first race, the America’s Finest City Half Marathon in San Diego. This was quite a triumph for someone who only a year before could barely walk one mile or climb a flight of stairs without losing his breath….

I haven’t known her for a long time, in fact, I just met her a couple of months ago. It’s me, Debbie, and I’m so happy to be the lady in the picture!
